The requirements for the Biology Minor consist of core courses in biology, chemistry and science education courses totaling 26-27 credits. Students in the minor are also required to take biology elective lecture and laboratory courses as listed below. The total number of credits required for the minor will be from 36 to 46 credits, depending on the choice of electives. In addition, to graduate with this minor students’ needs to maintain a minimum of 2.0 GPA, a minimum of 10 credits must be completed in the School of Biology at the University of Utah and all courses must be completed with a grade of C- or better.
