Recipients may not be on another tuition waiver scholarship during the scholarship year. This scholarship requires that the applicant/awardee be a US citizen or permanent resident (green card).
This scholarship fund was established in 1985 by Stephen D. Durrant, and is open to Biology majors who are finishing their freshman or sophomore years. Two scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded to cover tuition. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. The recipient of this award may apply for a second year, if funding is available. This scholarship requires that the applicant/awardee have graduated from a Utah high school or be a US citizen or permanent resident (green card).

This scholarship is available to declared Biology majors who are finishing their sophomore or junior years. One scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded for use towards the cost of tuition. A minimum GPA of 3.5 is required. Preference will be given to students who are working in a Molecular Biology lab or who are first-generation college students. This scholarship requires that the applicant/awardee have graduated from a Utah high school, or be a US citizen, or be a permanent resident (green card).
